Oh I found this book while it was offered free on Amazon but would totally purchase it!!!! Alexa has been through alot, her first real boyfriend not only cheated on her he then decided that he just could not let her go, it got so bad that his family had to send him out of town to another school (this was during high school) now 2 years later she is a junior in college. Alexa still is not ready for a relationship and works hard to help her dad pay for her school by taking on Mike High flights (yes she has her pilot licence) her roommate and best friend since kindergarten and her brother Jackson have invited her to a frat party. Jackson is very protective of her and knows that she really doesn't want to be there but is doing this for Aubrey. That is where she sees Drake for the first time, she feels instantly attracted to him, but at the moment he is fighting with what she thinks is his girlfriend.
Drake is new to Blythe and transferred to play on the Rugby team. He noticed Alexa a few weeks ago and just can't get her out of his head. When he sees her with Jackson he assumes they are together and it pisses him off but circumstances keep throwing them together the third time is the charm when his father charters Alexa's dad to fly him home for his mom's birthday. Drake realizes that Jackson is just a friend more like a brother to her and makes his move. Omg Drake is such a HOT Alpha male but the patience he gives Alexa is HOT this was a wonderful book with a few twists and turns you won't want to put it down!!!!!

This was a quick and cute read. Even though the book was short, it did not feel rushed. The book starts off with Alexa working her job. She is a pilot for a Miles High tour. We never really hear about this again until the end of the story. Drake is a new transfer kid, living in a frat house with Alexa's best friends brother. When Alexa goes to the frat party, she and Drake lock eyes. They are both physically attracted to each other. They meet the next day when Drake's dad charters a flight through Alexa's dad's company. This is just the beginning of their story.The rest of the book is a cute story about detailing their relationship. It isn't until the end when things start to fall apart for these 2. Drake hears a rumor and believes it. Drake and Alexa have a huge fight, making her run for the hills. Don't worry, you get your happily ever after and it doesn't end on a cliffhanger.
I've read this book twice now and I loved it even more the second time around. This has everything in it that I look for.

Alexa is a game changer for Drake. He's man enough to go after what he wants and that's Alexa. He's dominant, possessive but also treats her with respect. Due to a misunderstanding in the beginning, Alexa resists at first and that just made Drake more determined.

There is a bit of other woman and other men drama in this and I didn't even care. The way Drake and Alexa both handled it made it a non-issue for me. I really would love to find more books like this one. It's not easy to find an OTT Alpha story that is written maturely. I loved every bit of it!
5 stars for the hero, 3 stars for the setting/story = 4 stars

Fast paced read that has the ever elusive rainbow unicorn…the perfect alpha. If you like your books with a strong hero that is dominate, sexy, sweet and knows how to take care of his lady, this is the book.

Both Drake and Alexa were great characters. Unfortunately, I felt that these characters would have worked better in a story when they were older. Both of them are mature and Drake doesn’t talk like any kind of college student I’ve ever heard. It kind of threw me off because he was hot and had all the dirty, sexy, sweet talk down pat but it was in a college setting and it just didn’t fit. A motorcycle club, absolutely! I wouldn’t have minded that a bit. Alexa is a pilot who has started a new service in her father’s chartering business. She’s seems to have it all together with the exception of men. I liked the way she stood up for herself when the time demanded it.

Epilogue – disappointing because it pretty much restated the drama that had occurred at the end of the book and did not give the reader a look into this couple’s relationship further down the road.

Overall, I am so glad I read this book – rainbow alpha, remember – and I would love to read more from this author.
Wow, I am not even sure where to start. I had high hopes for this book in the beginning. I liked the heroine's job and I thought she was interesting. It had potential.The book went south real fast though. The hero and heroine meet at a party, then at the grocery store, then at the heroine's job, and then she goes home to meet his mom and dad all within 1 day. This book gave me whiplash and I found the plot and timeline improbable. I also found the hero distasteful - his alpha male persona morphed really quick into possessive ass. The heroine came off as weak - needing three men in her life to make up her mind for her. I tried to make it through the whole book, but I got through 60% before I just couldn't take it. Disappointed in this book.
This is my first Rochelle Paige book, and I'm sad to say this sat on my kindle for far too long. I'm glad I finally read this one.

One of the things I loved the most about Drake and Alexa is that even though Drake is a total alpha, Alexa doesn't put up with his crap. This story is very instalove but I'm ok with that. Sometimes it's nice to read about a guy who knows what he wants instead of all the angst.

I liked the author's writing style and I look forward to reading the rest of the gang's stories!
